This Moment
"A single photo – no words – capturing a simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember."
“This Moment” is a ritual found on Life inspired by theWee Man adopted from SouleMama which was introduced to me by Sarah-Jane. If you find yourself touched by a Moment and would like to participate, post your picture on a Friday and leave your link in the comments section.

Thanks for stopping by everyone! Not sure...I think it's the water lol. We were at a boardwalk at a park in Florida where I took it. They were doing something off the shores to "preserve" the wildlife, but unfortunately, the machines they were using and such must have been emitting some kind of oil, because there was a distinct sheen in the water. Lovely, I know! I moment nonetheless ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat shot Jess. Shame about the sheen, you think they were be a little more careful about preserving what they are trying to preserve :)

ReplyDeleteGreat pic! Pokey and I love it. :) I think it adds to the "moment" that there is oil in the water. Poor little dude. He still seems happy though. Yay!
ReplyDeleteGlad you and Pokey enjoyed it Rachel! I was hoping he'd like to see one of his Florida friends :)
ReplyDeleteWhen I first saw this in your album, I really thought it was a bottle :P... but then how could something as beautiful as this be inanimate?
ReplyDeleteSooo cute :D... I enjoyed looking at it, ahahaha...
Awhh Jessica, at first I thought this was a bottle floating on top...until I realized it was a blang turtle! Love it!
ReplyDeletePokey has found a friend!

I'm with Melissa and Mary - thought it was a bottle, too! Had to go back and really look and, once I did, I wasn't sure how I ever missed the turtle. I know you've made Pokey's day! :)
