This Moment: A Friday Tradition

This Moment
"A single photo – no words – capturing a simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember."

I know I'm not supposed to write anything and just merely post an image. However, this week I am going to stray from the rules. This moment is dedicated to my sister's Great Dane puppy, Tahoe, who tragically died yesterday during a routine surgery. She was getting spayed. 

The picture is of my children with Tahoe at Thanksgiving.  Please keep my sister Jennifer in your thoughts and prayers as well as my children. I am going to tell them the news after my daughter gets out of school today and I know they will be heart broken as they have seen Tahoe multiple times a week ever since they helped pick her out from the litter.

    I'm so sorry to hear Tahoe passed away - love to you all. It's so hard to tell children when things like this happens, you never know what their grasp on really understanding what has happened is. They do tend to surprise you at these moment too. I hope it isn't too hard for them x

    That's so tragic and sad!!! I can't believe Tahoe passed away undergoing such a routine procedure...she was so young and beautiful. Hope everyone nothing but the best as they deal with this ordeal. Blessings
