This Moment: A Friday Tradition

This Moment
"A single photo – no words – capturing a simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember."
“This Moment” is a ritual found on Life inspired by theWee Man adopted from SouleMama which was introduced to me by Sarah-Jane. If you find yourself touched by a Moment and would like to participate, post your picture on a Friday and leave your link in the comments section.

  1. What a beautiful location to be buried. This spot is so serene and peaceful that one can't help but find eternal rest there and the inscription speaks volumes. Blessings :)

  2. Is that a tombstone? I thought it was a book. Beautiful, serene image either way ...

  3. lol..nope it's not a tombstone :) It's a prayer book that Shane Claiborne and Jonathan Wilson Hartgrove published. I took my children out to our favorite spot at the river we frequent one Sunday in lieu of church. We had fun worshipping amidst all of Creation. For anyone that is interested in incorporating a little liturgy in their practices I'd highly recommend it. It also includes some great quotes by individuals who have inspired and transformed society...like Martin Luther King Jr.

  6. Great idea Mike! I didn't consider doing a review on a liturgical devotional book..but really, why not? And so few people are familiar with that style of book, it might be fun sharing more about it. Thanks for the idea! And btw...I'd highly recommend it! :)
